I’m Leah Shaw, award-winning composer, performing artist, and educator.

My original work has been featured on New York Times’ The Daily, Hulu, Netflix and The Smithsonian Channel.

I have performed my original music on over 100 stages across the country, including the debut album Play Beautifully, a meditation on loss and transformation.

Collaborations include immersive VR, film, podcasts, experimental theater and sound installations.

Play Beautifully (2021) is a full-length album that explores grief, loss and transformation. Intimate lyrics combine with rock and folk instruments alongside synths and orchestral elements.

The album was featured by American Blues Scene, KUTS Song of the Day & Americana Byways.
